OUR STORY
Before getting into the sandblasting and coatings industry, founder Jim Schwebke worked as a mechanic. As a practically-minded automotive enthusiast, he immediately recognized the usefulness of sandblasting to remove rust and paint from car parts—or really anything. He worked to create a reliable company that was capable of blasting anything from a car wheel to graffiti off of a building facade.
In 1987, Jim opened up shop as a mobile sandblasting company. His clientele quickly grew to include farmers, manufacturers, heavy industry professionals, fabricators, and even home decorators. Because of this unprecedented growth, we evolved into a full-service fixed facility with sandblasting, powder coating, and protective paint services.
Today, Fox Valley Sandblasting & Powder Coating is an in-house abrasive blasting and powder coating contractor. Our shop is home to two generations of the Schwebke family and other top specialists in the trade. Our expertise ensures that the quality exceeds the customer’s expectations, down to every last detail. Our team displays reliability and professionalism with each project. With our team, quality is never compromised.
